I will dominate 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really going ahead.
